Canon 24-105

Hello All!

So recently I just purchased my Canon 5D MK I. :mrgreen:

I'm highly considering about buying the 24-105mm to start out with. This lens seems like its a really good lens for overall performance..good walk around lens, I like that. I was thinkin about the 24-70 as well...but funds won't allow.

I'm about to get a never used 25-105 for $900...good deal? seems like it. I know this lens had a flare problem I believe prior to 2005 and was fixed. I believe the lens I'm bout to buy is a much later model such as 2009, but waiting to confirm with seller.

ITs a good lens. I have tried one a few times and have a friend who has a 5D and the 24-105 and loves this combo.

Its on my personal list of lenses to buy, probably sitting at #4 right now.

the 24-105 f/4 is a good lens, i wish nikon made one.

I have it and I love it. It is my everyday walk around lens. Also just to ask I see your in California so I want to ask are you getting it for $900 new from Sammy's camera? That is where I got mine from at the same price when they were having a no sales tax sale so it was an awesome deal.

Its my walk around lens... very versatile.


I also carry a 50mm f1.4 in pocket when lighting goes south....
