Canon 300mm 2.8 IS L Series Demo

Not so much a C&C (the shot is nothing special) as a demo of this rented lens on my Canon 60D cropped sensor 18MP camera. The only problem now is that I'm lusting after this $7K lens! :x

I made the same mistake once as well - its a really stunning lens indeed! Also looks like you got pretty close to that heron to get that shot with 300mm!

I was 12 to 15 feet away. Can't remember what bird it is but I don't think it's a heron.

My bad, YES, black crowned night heron. I'm so used to the blue herons that I forgot there were other types.
