Canon 60d problem

Need help

After shooting some long exposures, I found that some had a 'ring' of spots on them. These were taken on a 17-55mm lens at 55mm. I have since tested a 55-250 lens and found the same problem.

What is it??

If you were shooting long exposures, it's possible you were also using a high f stop. That makes any spots/dust on your sensor more apparanrt then if you shot more wide open.

Just a guess without seeing the image
