Here's a couple shots to show the performance bump between 2.8 and 4.0 on the 70-200 2.8IS L lens. As you can see, it's a bit mushy at 2.8, but gets sharp at 4.0. I post this for people who are curious about the 70-200 2.8IS lens performance.
The first image is full frame to show what is being looked at in detail. The box is the enlargement area, and the red crosshair is what was focused on.
The second shot and third images are 100 percent crop at 2.8 and 4.0 respectively, shot RAW, converted with CS2, no post processing or sharpening of any kind. Both were shot at 200mm.
