I recently purchased an excellent condition used Canon 70-200 f2.8L from Adorama and while it works ok most of the time I find that when it is zoomed into 200 that I have problems with it trying to focus. It will click quickly back and forth a bunch before it finally will either find focus or I have to turn it down slightly from 200 for it to achieve focus. This happens regardless of lighting or contrast. Is this a known issue? Normal? Broken? Camera problem? I am using it on a Canon 50D My EF-S 17-85mm IS works fine on it. It also seems to be focusing softly in low light but that could just be me. I tried micro adjusting the focus, but it didn't help any. I reset the micro adjustment and deleted the old micro adjustment info, but still nothing different. Any Ideas? Thanks.
