Canon CanoScan 9000F MKII flatbed scanner?

I'm looking for a scanner to converter my old 35mm and 2 1/4 B&W negatives. Is the Canon any good? If not, what is? I know nothing about this.

I use one for my 6x7 negs as well as 4x5. Good scanner for the bucks.
