Welcome aboard Becky.

As far as I know, there is no 'Canon D'. All of Canon's DSLR cameras have a 'D' in the numerical version of their name.
And I don't think there are any that actually have the designation 'mark I'. The subsequent models sometimes have a 'mark II' and 'mark III' etc, but they don't call the first one a 'mark I'....it's only people on the internet who retroactively call them that.
