Canon powershot S2 IS VS Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20

My buddy is looking to get a new camera, and he has 2 that he really wants, but he cant choose between them... Which one do you guys think he should go with?

I'm gona order one of them from the internet i don't think i'll find them in my local store so i can't go down and test them...

I'd probably pick the one with the bigger bit of glass on the front.

You guessed it my name said it all. I had to make the same choice and went for the Panasonic. Absolutely fantastic lens f2.8 all the way through zoom range and so sharp. Feels like a real camera and I've had quite a few others but none are a patch on the FZ20.
