Canon Rebel? Good Buy???

I found a used canon rebel with 18-55mm/3.5-5.6 lens for $349. This is my first DSLR. Is this a good buy? Is this a good camera?

It depends a lot of how bad it was used... if it`s as good as new then i think it`s a good deal... if it was heavily used i think that it`s better to pay an extra 100$ and buy a new one...

Post where you have found it for that cheap. The folks here have opinions (more like proven opinions) on quite a few retailers that are complete rip-offs. I don't have the online shopping experience to comment, but others will if you post where.

assuming you mean Rebel and not Rebel XT, you can get this camera new for 349. The XT is the 8MP version
