Canon speedlite not firing

I have a Canon speedlite, the batteries are charged, yesterday it fired with my Canon RP. Today I have tried it with two different cameras and does not fire.

Any ideas how to fix this? I have google without success.

Are you using remote or direct connection

Clean contacts, curse a little, see if it'll work...could be the flashtube or some other key component has failed.

Weirdly it is now working - very strange - thanks for the help everyone.

I wish all problems would fix themselves like that.

There are days like that, work hard nothing goes right. Other days just seem to flow
