Can't decide between the two Micro lenses! Advice pls`

so I am in need of a micro lens. my two choices are the AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED, or the AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED. you can see what lens I have on the bottom, so any advice as to which one to invest in?

I'm leaning towards the 105, just cuz i have a 50mm prime already, and due to the fact that it has VR, but i don't know if you ever actually need the VR, so any input would be much appreciated

VR is pretty much pointless on macro lenses (IMO) since you should be doing your macro work from a tripod. If you budget allows it, then go for the 105. Both are excellent lenses which will produce tack-sharp images, BUT the 105mm will allow you to stand much further back ("Much" being a relativer term in macro-photography) which is important if you're trying to get things such as insect shots, where getting to close will scare them away.
