[Frosty Stones]

Decided to just take he 50mm and see what I got myself into. Space was my enemy, as I didn't have any in some cases. But after I got home and took a look, it wasn't all that bad, a 35mm is probably the better choice, but as I am learning, it was a good experience. this is five of many.
All @ ISO800, and priority of f1.8, on a D3000

N. 3 is my favourite. As someone said...the fact that you have wide aperture doesn't mean you have to shot always wide.
#1 IMHO would have benefit from a f/4, with more details of the connectors. I like the composition, anyway.
#2 would have benefit at least f/2,8 or better f/4, 'cause there were nice textures. I don't like the composition here, anyway.
#3: I like it and here I would have gone even after. f/5,6 or even f/8 or more. The chaotic compositions it somehow nice and I would have loved to see more details.
#4: bad composition here, cannot see the whole car and there are a few distractions that bothers my eyes.
#5: I understood what you wanted to say here, but ...I think you could have found a better angle.

My winner is n. 3: keep on shooting and posting!

ps: 50mm on which camera? 50mm can be a good reportage lens on a full frame camera.

Sorry, it a D3000. and thanks. I have a long way to go.
But would a 35mm be a better choice in this environment?
