Thanks Bill. Yes, a few of my holiday photos were a little under and I need a bit more time with this camera I think before getting really consistent results.

I really like the rising 'mantle of mist' in the background. Perhaps if you go for a tighter crop on the hill it would bring out more detail of the structures and the interesting foreground lines of the farmed landscape. This might also reduce the perceived exposure problem.

Any thoughts on this crop? I tried quite a few and settled on this one, which is 16:10
