I think something went wrong with white balance. Or depends how you treat your pictures. Especially the second pic could be excellent memory from vacation. It has specific mood, which might have for you a lot of meaning. In the first shot you convinced me, that the island has electricity and at least one church, but basically I can see only roofs. Even for just memories from vacation this is not very romantic.
