We had a pair of male/female black squirrels escape from the childrens zoo a couple of years ago. Normally we only have red squirrels but now I'm seeing the progeny of the escapees...

here lately all i see around DC are black squirrels! this obviously is offspring from a black and a gray one...but i could be wrong. if i catch an albino one then i could say i've seen 'em all!

I have to say I would be a little scared if I was alone with that squirrel in a dark alley.

Great picture. That squirrel looks really big compared to the ones around here.
