Hello everyone! I have finally gained the courage to suck it up and post a few of my pics. I am still fairly new to photography and I am learning as much as I can before I pick up a camera, call my self a photographer and start charging people! lol I am also learning as much as I can when it comes to PP. First off, for future reference, please embed your images within the thread. Most viewers don't want to/won't bother to follow a link. Overall, they're a good start; most suffer from moderate to severe horizontiltitis, but that can be corrected in post. I would also recommend that you consider the time of day and background elements when you're shooting. Make use of your fast glass to acheive shallow depth of field which will isolate your subject more effectively.

Thanks, I added them to the forum! I know he's not looking into the camera and they may be a little out of focus (was focusing on eyes) but I was actually working on getting the right exposure and practicing my skills in PP. I really have a hard time photographing MY kids! lol They do not take orders..lol

great shots I like the 2nd one w/ their silhouettes - The effect on the water up to about 3/4 of the photo is great, but you can see a little blurriness up top. I'm a bit of a noob too. If you don't mind my asking what settings did you use for all shots? I have a Nikon D5100....the sensor may be a little inferior to yours, but it would be nice to have a good baseline for me to begin.
