Please give me your opinions on likes and dislikes. I made the mistake of using a 35mm prime to account for the loss of light and he was moving so quick I found several that cropped his arms and legs before I could move back.

Except for #2, I think these are memory shots that would mean the most to you and the family.

#2, however seems to tell a nice story and has more universal appeal.
Very nicely conceived and executed, I think.
Perhaps a little crop to place him more off center and the other kids in real opposition to him.
Perhaps also a little toning down of the saturation to make it less cheery - and reinforce the 'left out' idea.

I like that edit, Lew! I would possibly crop off the edge of the driveway (grass part on the left) and straighten it a little (make sidewalk horizontal). Otherwise, I like that idea!

I too like your idea. Even though those were adults crossing the street i agree toning it down some would help.
