Typically, the flatiron mountains are the attraction here, but yesterday they were pretty well enshrouded in mist. I thought the rolling plains leading up to them had a very Zen feel to them.

I thought I'd sweeten the pot with this photo I took of the same area from a greater distance back in June.

I like the second. Seems a tad dark. I can't tell if that's a good or bad thing with this image.
