Cheap macro lens for Canon 400D (xti)

I am interested in buying a macro lens and I don't want anything fancy. I just want a macro lens that can focus within 12". I don't really care about the brand or the features (USM, IS, OF....). I want to get a lens for less than $150. I have been searching for days and I can't find anything. I'll probably go to pawn shops sometime this week to search for one.

Get a close-up filter and turn the lenses you have now into macro lenses. Search this site for close-up filter and macro. Or just read all the text in these threads:
