cheap point and shoot with decent video?

soo i dont know **** about about point and shoot haha. but i want one thats pretty good with night time photos/videos. ill probably be filming a decent amount of low lit areas with it so yea. im looking for somethin cheep just so i dont have to carry my gear everywhere and preferably a canon. ideally i'd go with the g9 or G12. but thats a little pricey for a point and shoot if you ask me. any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you were willing to buy something used (and technically not a point and shoot) you could probably get a Canon T1I for around the price of a G12 and that shoots video very "decently."

yea deff willing to get something used, but the whole point here is i dont want anything bulky. going for a point and shoot. i already have enough slrs. dont need another crowding my arsenal, lmao

Oh lol.

Hrm, I have had a couple Canon point and shoots (Elph series) in the past and they were always OKay for video. The best thing would likely be to search on YouTube for test videos from the cameras you think you may want.
