Cheetah Portrait

I captured this portrait of a cheetah during my visit last month to the Alburquerque Zoo. I was pleased with how my aged 1.4x teleconverter behaved with my 500 VR. So, this combination provided an effective focal length of 700mm...and this image is just slightly cropped.

Every once in a bit, things come into alignment and you get a great photo. I haven't had the privilege of seeing African wildlife in nature, but I imagine it looks much like this. Congrats on getting a believable background. What a beautiful animal!
