Local Chess Tournament
Tricky light, Low light with lots of back light, in a cafeteria, really high ceiling, only place to get pics from way behing spectator rope.

Thoughts? Comments?

Instead of turning up the ISO, I would suggest that you decrease your shutter speed a stop or so. 1/320 would be sufficient for hand held shooting in that situation.

Considering what you describe that you had to work with I like the composition. To me the player on the right is looking at the board and I like seeing the blurred boards/pieces lined up.

The window beams are distracting but otherwise i like it.
