Hmmm... I wonder why no one posted in this... I really like this shot, it has lots of emotion. The black and white looks great.

This picture is really "old school". Are you working with digital or with "not digital" (please tell me the word if you know it ). It lacks a bit of contrast, to me.

this photo was taken with a "argentical" camera (meaning non digital) but it was reworked on photoshop. i played with the contrasts etc..
