Chilly Sunset | On Ice | Lots of Gold

Editing this one was difficult, and I'm still not sure it's where I want it. It was tough to shoot as the filters flared quite a bit (and added lots of spots from the dust on them), HDR led to halo's, so I tried to combine the best of both worlds...

Thoughts?

I think what's tough is that it's SOO different than my usual work. It's a lot lighter/air-ier than my typical sunset images.... not sure about it..

Like them all - would have liked #1 better if DOF was just a tad deeper to include the lens.
The last one does seem a bit washed out in the top 1/3.

Yeah. I decided to blow it out in the sky a bit because there was little to no detail (one contrail) and some strong halo's from the HDR processing. That seemed the cleanest way to bring the focus down to the foreground as well.
