I'd be super-stoked about the 16-35mm f/4 VR...I mean sheesh...that is ALL a guy needs on full-frame!!! When I was a young man, we considered a 20mm to be very wide, and a 17mm was Ultra-wide angle. Hell, we called the 24mm wide-angle. But I mean, yikes, 16mm!!! That used to be about as wide as was possible, until the only so-so 14mm lenses came out. Over the decades, each decrease in mm was heralded as a new era...In the early 1960's, 21mm was exotic, then Nikon went to 20mm. Then 18mm. 16mm was FISHEYE, not rectilinear. And now we have 16,17,18,20,21,24,25,28,35mm, all lens lengths that were at one time or another, or still are, made as prime lens lengths!!! Basically, the 16-35mm f/4 VR has almost every single wide-angle length that has been viewed as needed over the last roughly 50 year time frame-in one lens!!! With VR!! And nano-crystal antireflective coating, which is pretty good stuff to counteract those glancing sun-rays that might strike the front element group. Damn!!!

What a great time we live in for photo gear! I'm happy for you man.
