Honestly, I think you missed a great opportunity with this.
What you have here are some shots of some very cool things that were at the ceremony, but taken in very unintersting ways. Very static... not really showing the interest in the details, etc.
Next time think in terms of "painting with the light". Look for the patterns, colors and interesting elements and show them to us in a way that really sucks us into the picture.
