Very nice; I think this scene has great potential for a monochrome. The only [very minor] nit I can find is that I'd like to see just a bit more detail in the sky.

thanks, how would i go about adding more detail to just the sky in photoshop?

This is a very basic way to edit for detail and to help you get a better understanding of layer masks and blending modes. the key is to be fairly loose in your selection allowing the feathering to do most of the work.
