Well, just one gun... and there's technically not a pirate... Just a pirate themed firearm. Still, it's pretty sweet. :mrgreen:

I've been in a rut recently that I can't seem to get out of... I'm bored with most subjects that present themselves. My Flickr has fallen mostly silent. With the procurement of a new toy, I figured I'd try something new (to me), and hope it continues. Let me know how I did, if you would.

I couldn't decide which I liked better between 3 and 4... Each time I thought I liked one better, I would look at the other and change my mind! What do you guys think?

#5 is my favorite, though. It combines both of my favorite things: firearms and chocolate!

Note: I am looking for critique. I don't do many product/studio type shots. Still working on lighting and backgrounds.

Eighty views, no one feels any advice is necessary so far. Is this the point at which it's time to open up a photography business?! Apparently they're perfect!

...Nah... Maybe one of the next eighty views will have some critique or advice on improvement.

I'll check in the morning, when I wake up.

Nice! Do you have a class three, or is the "giggle" position purely for show?

BTW, I see the Parley and ARRGH.... but what is the label in the giggle position? That lower is hi-freakin' larious, and I want one.

#5 is my favorite as well. That's a funny firearm ^_^

The fun switch is purely for show. :( It reads 'PARLEY' - 'AARGH' - and 'PLUNDER'.

I doubt they were making Pirate-themed lower receivers pre-1986, and if anyone DOES have a pirate-themed transferable lower I doubt they'd be getting rid of it! :lol: I don't have an FFL 07 - FFL 11 (the ones that deal with NFA items like explosives, short-barreled shotguns/rifles, and machine guns (as defined by law)), so I'm limited to NFA items registered pre-1986.

Thank you. :hug::

edit - Oh, I forgot to mention on the other side it says:

CRITICISM, folks... Looking to improve... I don't have much experience with studio-type shots, how can I make 'em better?

Background should be non-distracting and the product should be visualized from different angles. That's my humble advice of course.

Also try to get the full product in the frame in different angles. Then if necessary close-up for detailed views etc.

Try to make it stand out and look more appealing than it actually is. Experiment with different backgrounds.
