Choose between....I need help.

Hello everybody.

I need your kind help to choose between 2 slr cameras.
Which should I choose, the Canon 500D+canon 18-55 IS, or the Nikon D5000 + AF-S DX 18-55 G VR.

I want to buy one of this 2, but i need your help, to show me the main differences, the positives and negatives between them.
