Choosing to print?!

I am just an amateur and sometimes feel strange about posting my work at home. How do you all decide what to hang on you wall and what not too? Or do you print and hang any in your home?

I print the good ones.

The good ones I have previously had printed (30 years worth) get rotated to storage, or gifted to friends and family, to make room on the walls for new work.

Family type snapshots get printed and go in a photo album. The good ones go on the wall.

Eventually, the good ones don't look as good, so better ones replace them.

I never hang my own photos at home. Have walls full of other art work, mostly photos.

The school likes me to hang my work there as it creates interest from the students.

I do print and love prints (comes from 64 years in the dark room) and put them in folios to be viewed.

Years ago when first learning i would hang a photo in a place i would /could see it on a regular basis as it was helpful in deciding if or what changes needed to be made before creating the final print.
