Christmas Day- morning walk

Whilst I awaited the arrival of Christmas lunch my good lady wife suggested I get out from under her feet and take the camera out for an hour or two ( it was around 8am when I got these images )

Whiteish skies here this morning - here's 3 quite like

All shot with Sony a9 and Sony 200-600mm G lens- sory for the flat light- we can only shoot with what we are given

1. Little Grebe

2. Little Ringed Plover

3. Bittern flying towards me- only for a second or two though
