Hi.

Here is my first real macro shoot I took today (no post processing). Quick question for macro experts - how to get rid of the flash reflection's? Will the diffuser help?
What is that? Cicada?

I do believe it's a Dogday Harvestfly which is in the Cicada Family.

A diffuser will help also use less power in the flash by using a smaller f stop. I use the little pop -up flash on my camera and even then sometimes rap it in tissue paper.

no, Its a cicada nymph about to hatch. Very nice shots.
