Circular Hybrid vs. Digital Circular

What are circular hybrid and digital circular for CPL?

From what I can gather the hybrid is a CPL filter that also includes a UV filter. Personally I wouldn't bother as today's modern lenses use a UV setting cement to glue lens elements together and it does a better job at blocking UV than most UV filters.
The digital CPL has extra coating to reduce reflections, in other words it's just another name for a multi-coated filter.

Not all polarizing filters are circular. Some are linear polarizing filters
A circular polarizing filter is usually needed if you want to use auto focus and you want a digital camera's light meter to work properly.
A circular polarizing filter is actually 2 filters. A rotatable linear polarizing filter in front and a quarter wave plate for the second element.

I would not trust a brand that labels their product "digital". There really should not be anything about a filter that makes it "digital". This seems to be something that cheaper filer makers put onto their products as a selling point.

But really, it doesn't make an awful lot of sense to me.
