Cleaning up Crit #4

For those who don't know.. I'm cleaning out the crap from my website and coming across images I can't decide whether to keep up or not...

So here goes... Why does it work? why does in not? Any input is appreciated.

For me, it doesn't work because the LED lights grab all the attention and the musicians are too low in the frame.

Also, I can clearly see that there is a lot of movement going on; the singer in particular looks very animated, but they have no space to move about in.

IF I were gonna keep it, it would be a different version of it, with the singer and the LED lights at the top cropped out, maybe a little extra "empty" space cloned in then, to the left of the guitar player (photo right), and just enough of the LED light at the top left to show a red glow but not the actual light. That would focus in on the strongest part of this image, imo.

I learned that if there is any doubt ... hit the delete.

I like that method.. but I have this problem where I obsessively doubt all of my images so I'd never have anything to show if I did that

For most of us here, (including moi), that would be a good start.

If you're using the website as a marketing tool only display the best of the best. It is better to only have ten exceptional image than ten exceptional images watered-down by association with ten not-so-exceptional. Dilution will kill you.
