The second photo has a little blur in it And also a soft light filter or something like that! I really like the second one!

yeah the second one has a slight soft filter that i added later on, the sun glare was there to begin with though. thanks for all the comments guys!

Have to agree...I really like that second one. Nice shot!! I love the rays of sunlight leading toward your subject. Sometimes that's accidental, but if you can achieve such an effect on purpose, you're better than I am! :mrgreen:

perhaps reshooting with the subject wearing a slightly darker t-shirt? The "bright" white is a little distracting, but otherwise, and excellent shot

well, that white was actually intentional. i wanted him to be a little 'glowy'. i do wish he would have kept his shoes off though.
