Clomp Clomp

This is a snap I caught with cel phone after the battery in my camera ran out. These girls are in a parade themed "Campesino Life" and are demonstrating the simple toys campesino children make to entertain themselves (a bit of a lie since they head straight for the x box salon when they come into town on market day). The parade snaked through the village and when I saw them an hour later they were still clomp, clomping along on the tin cans. Sturdy girls!

We used to make those tin can feet things when I was a kid! Lots of free fun and lots of skinned knees.
TV didn't start till 5pm and only 2 B&W channels back then on a 12 inch square screen.
