Close encounters with the law in 2012?

Have you had any close encounters with the law this year? Personally, I didn't come any closer than this:

That's the book containing Norway's Laws. Student contest in throwing it the longest. This crazy dude almost hit me - it passed around a meter from me (apprx three feet)!

Hahaha - that's a fantastic shot.

This year was pretty quiet for me. While working a local "occupy" protest I was shoved down by a cop, but he backed into me so I think it was "incidental contact" so to speak. It would have been "roughing the passer" in todays National Football League... or at least a Yellow Card in real football. Anyway he was all of 18 years old and he was surprisingly upset that he knocked me down and started yelling at me to move. Thankfully the Press ID hanging from my neck caught his Sergeant's eye, who rushed over, helped me up and apologized. He was an FNG in every since of the word... and I hope he had to go wash some cars. On top of that the "protest" was 35 old people milling around, 6 hippies playing sticks, a handful of homeless people looking for food, and a city councilman looking for votes. Total bust.

Other than that nothing confrontational for 2012. I assumed it would have been more exciting, being the end of the world and all.
