I have mixed feelings about this one. At times, I look at it and really like it, but sometimes i feel like its missing something. Is the grass too dark? Im really looking to improve my B&W's and although this one is rather plain, it's one I'd like to start with. thanks for any help/critique.

i really like it.. the only thing i think it could be is the rule of third rule thing... maybe if the grass had been a little higher it wouldnt look so empty.. i know i you mean though.. i think its lovely! but feels something is missing

What about a more panoramic crop? There's a lot of dead space at the top

the bench with the people add on is a good touch,
but i actually like the original just as much..
its different.. unique.. art..

i dont think the rule of third would / should apply to this image..
its just a hill and a cloud.. if it were dead in the center
or really anywhere else in the picture i think it would make it
too predictable & average..

Different is good.
