Cobbles....

In the calderdale area of Halifax, West Yorkshire there many areas that have cobbled lanes and paths. Was always advised to photograph them when they're wet!

I am preferring #2 for the symmetry and lines. I imagine these would not work dry because of the lack of reflected light.
