Cool photo. A couple things, first off is you have part of a different photo scanned in with it? Second is the left side looks over-exposed, losing detail in the texture, which is important in a texture photo.

I like it except for the thick black line on the left edge. I'd say lose it or border all the way around. Possibly could use a little burning in the lighter sections of the left side.

Oh, I wanted to see cobblestones - these are bricks. No matter, this is still a great pattern shot.

I would agree with what's been said about the thick black line on the left, and it could have used more time in a few lighter areas.

But I like this idea a lot!
