Cokin kits

Please can someone advise the main difference between the Z and P series filters?? im putting these on a nikon kit lense. Just wondered which was better, thx

Just looked for you and the P series is for lenses up to 82mm in diameter. The Z series is for lenses up to 100mm in diameter.

There is a huge price difference. Z filters are very pricey compared to P. If you have an ultrawide, they suggest the Z type, but I use a P on my Sigma 10-24 and seem to be OK most of the time.

What do you mean by "most of the time"? What problems do you sometimes encounter? I've been seriously considering one of these kits mainly for the ability to adjust the "horizon" on graduated neutral density filter. Other than that, I'm not sure of their benefits over regular filters.

I got my cokin for my graduated ND ... i do see a little vignetting when the lens is zoomed wider than about 13 or 14mm
