Head into one of the science and engineering fields. US companies are hurting so bad for those positions they are recruiting and paying bick bucks for folks from other countries to come here to work in those jobs.

So: study anything you feel is mostly "you" and put your heart into your studies, listen to what your instructors or teachers tell you, study hard, and then... anything you do should be ok.
Do German Literature... if the suggested subject is not so much "yours". Maybe?

Riffing on Bitter's comment above...you should major in SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT...that field will NEVER become saturated!!!
