Colour calibration

I recently bought a IMAC 27in computer. Do i need too colour calibrate it? I am just curious?

i had a eMac with OSX, there was a built-in, called display calibrator assistant.
ColorSync for Mac OSX

probably something like this on your new one.

It gets you in the ball park but I found that it isn't accurate enough for photographic work. You should invest in a calibration unit like the Spyder.

Yea I have been looking into those I might invest in one. They have so many different products I dont know which one i should get lol
