Hallo everyone. Hope everyone is getting into the swing of the festive season. Here are some pics from the past few days at the coast. Please leave any comments you wish to give. Thanks so much.

I really like he first! What are those stumps (?) for?

I like the first one a lot. I don't like the tilt on the 2nd. The 3rd is neat, but I think taking some of the sky off the top would help it out. The first one may benefit from taking some off the top too.

I like #3 the best - although I think it would have been better as a landscape shot to be shot in landscape orientation. Does that make sense? The hotdog way, not the hamburger way. Anyways.

I also feel like the sky blends into the forground too easily. Almost as if the sky is too red/purpleish. Maybe it's just me.

#1 is good too. I love water/gull shots. #2, I don't like the angle. Too extreme for something that isn't for me.

Beyond the Basics
Have you been at photography for awhile? This is the forum for more advanced discussion of photography, such as exposure methods, lighting, HDR, and other techniques and controls!

But.....

#1 is a nice shot.

#2 I don't care for the tilt and wish there was a horizon.

#4 looks odd as a vertical to me.
