Comparing photo printers

I am looking to buy a photo printer on a very limited budget. I am comparing the following 2 printers:
Epson Artisan 1430 - Epson Artisan 1430 Inkjet Printer - Product Information - Epson America, Inc.
versus
Canon IP 8720 - PIXMA iP8720

Does anyone have experience with either? Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Recommendations?

Here are my requirements:
9600 x 2400 minimum
4+ inks
13" x 19" minimum
major brand - HP, Epson or Canon
wireless
borderless printing
different media types

First question is why are you wanting the printer. To print photos, give them to people, swap them out every few months or are you looking for long lasting archival prints? If it is the first then either would probably do, however I prefer Epson. If it is the latter, save you money and get the Epson P400. It is the bottom end of their professional series, uses archival quality inks with all the features you have listed plus more.

Thanks for the recommendation. And while I would like to have the P400 it is out of my budget range at the moment. I was leaning towards the Epson.
