Completely White Background

Good morning! How do I go about getting the entire backdrop as white as the background is in the photo? I'm lighting the back ground with a light source on either side. I notice when I try methods to light the floor it just makes the subject too bright for my liking. How can this be done besides in post? Thanks!

Use grids or flags to control spill on the lights illuminating the floor.
