The second works a lot better than the first.

#1 is suffering from no-shadows-floating-model syndrome.

Yes, the second one looks pretty believable as a composite. As rexbobcat mentioned, the first one seems as if she's not really anchored. I looked through your recent Flick stuff...wow Zack, you've made some amazing progress over the last couple of years! Your models and makeup artists have both improved, and the photography and lighting are also really looking nice.
