I understand what you mean, but the student AD really wanted to play up the construction site bg. He was thrilled with the harshness and busyness of it all. We'll see if the professor (the client) agrees.A longer focal length/wider aperture would have made it more appealing.

Better prep on the food would have been nice. This does not look like some amazing DIY food creation which is what the Cooking channel is all about.
