You must live a lot further south than we do ... flowers of the kind a) don't grow here, anyway, and b) there are hardly any flowers left in our gardens. Nor green leaves.
Nice composition with the flower on the left and the entire leaf inside the frame. Nothing cropped off. I like it.

great photo, i was looking at it in a 2d way, and the flower and leaf form a heart kinda, i love the cropping as well, like LaFoto said.
