Converting exe file to a new format to play on DVD

Help needed. I have a slideshow saved from ACDsee 17 which is currently on a dvd saved as an 'exe' file.

However, the slideshow is going to be played onto a projector through a DVD player and in current format does not work.

Could someone advise on best software and what format I need to convert the file to so it can be played on a dvd player.

Don't think it can be done as simple as you suggest. You will have to run it through a video app and render it to an acceptable format.
I would just suggest going back to acdc and save it to a format that your DVD player will accept. Many will now play most all common formats, though none that I know of will launch an executable (.exe)

Yes, best solution would be to go back to the software that created the slideshow and just output it to a format that will play. If that's not an option, then starting from scratch (if you have the image files) might be something to consider. You can bang out a simple slideshow pretty easily.

Or, if you have a laptop (or can borrow one), just run the exe on that and connect it to the projector.
